Hero detective Steven McDonald showed up at the Bronx criminal courthouse Friday to support 16 cops who were arraigned in the ticket-fixing scandal.
And when McDonald, who became a quadriplegic when he was shot by a 15-year-old in 1986, shows up – you listen.
Unfortunately, what we heard from some of the 500 or so members of the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association who also showed up were epithets like “you piece of s—!” hurled at prosecutors.
It was a disgrace.
