A Bronx cop accused of fudging crime stats by undervaluing a stolen iPad faces a Department Hearing. Officer Damian McIntosh made what should have been a felony case into a misdemeanor, police charge.
Officer McIntosh “acknowledged having arbitrarily depreciated the value of one of the items reported as having been stolen by the complainant,” NYPD documents state. “Officer McIntosh altered the value of the item provided by the complainant and was unable to provide justification for having done so.”
