Medgar Evers College is a real-life animal house. The dean of freshman studies said yesterday she was the target of a sexual-harassment campaign.

Dean Gale Gibson said provost Dr. Howard C. Johnson made nasty jokes questioning the paternity of her child — comments that were repeated in a vicious e-mail that described her and other female staffers as “sluts” and “whores.”

“There was a memorandum that was sent from Medgar Evers’ legal counsel saying that there would be an investigation, but to date no investigation has been launched,” said Gibson’s lawyer, Eric Sanders.
